In December 2022, Nevada County Revealed (NCR) embarked on a mission:
“Dedicated to revealing what is hidden and going unreported in the Sierra foothills of Nevada County, California.”
As NCR continues its quest to unearth the underreported and address issues neglected by traditional media, our commitment extends beyond exposing problems to spotlighting local solutions.
In the past year, NCR posed crucial questions:
Are you grappling with unaddressed issues in your local media?
Do you possess information demanding public attention without a proper platform?
Are your pleas for help falling on deaf ears in both government and media?
Have you faced censorship, bans, or deletion on other platforms?
Do you believe your local media is neglecting crucial matters?
Today, we add another question: Do you have or know of local solutions you'd like to share with the public?

Despite releasing only a few articles due to ongoing projects, NCR is thrilled to welcome Pauli Halstead as a regular contributor. Many are familiar with Pauli from her thought-provoking columns in The Union newspaper and her insightful contributions to this Substack.

Amidst the anticipated chaos of 2024, we sense remarkable developments on the horizon. Recently, we've observed a shift in views and comments—away from fear and towards exploring and implementing local solutions. It's a subtle yet promising transformation. Pauli’s expertise in physical and spiritual health perfectly aligns with this positive shift. Additionally, Penelope Curtis is joining us as a regular contributor to create video compilations.
